Ph.D. in Parapsychology

I'm so excited... I'm totally transferring here:
Coventry University is offering the chance to look into haunted houses, extra-sensory perception and "the survival of bodily death". Tony Lawrence, director of the two-year parapsychology course, said it would be "controversial yet thought-provoking". The 15 post-graduate students starting the first course this autumn will look at the paranormal using several scientific methods. For instance, some will investigate haunted houses, looking at statistics on which parts of buildings provide the most sightings. Extra-sensory perception - where two people seem to communicate without using sound, vision, touch or smell - will also be looked at.

What kind of job would one get after this? Do you join the ghost busters? or work for a 1-900-psychic line, or perhaps uhh...i have no idea!

And hey look here's some advice for new students of parapsych:
There are two ways to study parapsychology in an academic setting: 1) obtain an advanced degree in a related area, and once established in that field, study parapsychology “on the side; or 2) study parapsychology at a university with a formal program or a record of encouraging students to do independent research.

In the U.S.A., students can minor in parapsychology through the Psychology Department of Franklin Pierce College (http://www.fpc.edu) in New Hampshire. Saybrook Institute (http://www.saybrook.edu), and the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology in California (http://www.itp.edu) offer advanced degrees in psychology that can include parapsychology. In the U.K., the psychology faculties of University College Northampton (http://www.northampton.ac.uk), University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield (http://www.herts.ac.uk), Goldsmiths College in London (http://www.goldsmiths.ac.uk), Liverpool Hope and Liverpool John Moores Universities, Coventry University and the University of Edinburgh (http://moebius.psy.ed.ac.uk) offer both undergraduate modules in parapsychology and doctoral degrees that can include parapsychological research. (To find parapsychology in the universities listed above put either “parapsychology or “anomalous in the university’s search engine.)
And again to make people happy here's the smack down on parapsychology.

I wonder where Dr. Venkman trained? He had PhDs in both psychology and parapsychology. :-D

I love that scene in the beginning of ghostbusters with bill murray, the hot woman, dorky guy, and shock machine.
