Olfactory Dance Mix

The Berkeley Olfactory Research Project examines "systems-level neurobiological mechanisms of olfactory processing" and other subjects with tools that include fMRI.

DJ BORP took audio samples from those experiments and created danceable mashups. Mixing noises from the BIC 4T Varian MR magnet with voice instructions like "please prepare to sniff at the tone," "was the odorant present?" and "that is incorrect" resulted in olfactory grooviness.
